Tawag Ng Tangahalan Kids March 14 Performances

Mark Francis Meniolas from Taguig City was first to take the stage. Mark’s father suffered a stroke and he now tries to be a responsible son helping around the house. His favorite chore: washing dishes. Mark helps his older brother get passengers for a jeepney at a terminal nearby. This 9-year-old sang Isang Lahi hoping to impress the judges.

Mark’s smile was the first thing Hurado Nyoy loved about him. Dynamics was also a strength but advised him to minimize his hand gestures so he can focus more on having a steady mic for better volume next time.

Next on stage was 9-year-old Lowisse Dominique Yurong from Imus, Cavite.  Yurong dreams of becoming a teacher someday. She was inspired by her teacher, Janice. Lowisse sang Musika Ang Buhay by Asin.

Hurado Louie Ocampo liked Lowisse’s performance most especially her deep and round voice. He advised Lowisse to work on her dynamics and expression of how she portrays the story of the song.

Seven-year-old Rhenilea Daduya from Iloilo was the last contender of the day. Lea loves singing and drawing. She sees her older sister sing and join competitions and this inspired her a lot. Rhenilea’s favorite contender on TNT’s last edition was Hazelyn Cascano. Lea’s smile and stage presence was her strength says Hurado Karylle. She was also amazed how well she performed considering this was her first time to join a singing competition. Hurado Yeng also noticed how Lea moves on stage and was impressed by her performance as well.
