POPCORN TIME LIVE BLOG RECAP: On Tawag Ng Tanghalan November 15 episode, new defending champion Irra Cenina battles new contenders. Irra won as Monday daily winner and took the title as defending champion from Dwight Caliao. He won with an average score of 95.4 percent and is now ready to take on new contenders. Irra Cenina won over daily winner Arman Alferez and remains as defending champion with an average score of 94.2 percent.

Tawag Ng Tanghalan November 15 Performances

First contender was Rosette Libardo. Rosette is a 3rd year BS Agriculture student. She and her siblings were raised by her father. Rosette wants to help her family if she wins. She sang “Come On In Out of the Rain.” Judge Rey Valera signaled for the gong towards the middle part of the song. Rey Valera said Rosette had a lot of flat notes. Hurado Karla said the judges noticed how nervous she was. Unfortunately, Rosette was automatically disqualified from the show.

Next on stage was Angelique Ayong from Samar. Angelique is a part time college teacher and is the bread winner of her family. She was raised by a single mom and has one other sibling. She sang Regine Velasquez’s song “Araw-Gabi.” Judge Rey liked her aura and called her a good ‘story teller’ because of how she sang the song. He also said her song was challenging. He added, “For me, you are perfect.”

Last contender was singer songwriter Arman Alferez. Arman is 42 years old and takes care of his daughter. He sang “Said I Love You But I Lied” by Michael Bolton. Judge K Brosas was very pleased with his voice quality, song choice and performance.

Tawag Ng Tanghalan Tuesday Daily Winner

Tuesday daily winner is Arman Alvarez with an average score of 95 percent. Arman sang “Muli” to challenge defending champion Irra Cenina. Irra sang “Feeling Good” to battle daily winner Arman.

Irra Cenina remains as Tawag Ng Tanghalan’s defending champion garnering an average score of 94.2 percent.
