POPCORN TIME LIVE BLOG RECAP: On Tawag Ng Tanghalan November 21 episode, resbaker turned new defending champion Sam Mangubat battles new contenders. Sam Mangubat overthrew Yvette Celoso on Saturday with an average score of 96.6 percent. On this episode he won over Monday daily winner Daniel Onahon garnering an average score of 93.4 percent.

Tawag Ng Tanhalan November 21 Performances

First contender was 20-year-old Janno Lagamon. Janno dreams to be a famous singer. He has been joining videoke and amateur singing contests since he was a child. His late sister had the same dream for him.  Janno sang “Maghintay Ka Lamang” by Vehnee Saturno. Hurado Yeng and Hurado Karla liked his voice quality but noticed he was off-tune in some parts of the song.

Next on stage was 23-year-old Patricia Taparo from Iloilo. She dreams to be part of  ASAP’s Sessionistas. Patricia wants to pay for her own tuition fee and finish school if she wins the competition. She sang Rey Valera’s song, “Pangako.” Hurado Rey Valera liked her modulated voice and her performance.

Last contender on stage was 22-year-old Daniel Onahon from Bukidnon. His father passed away because of cancer. He dedicated his performance to his late father. Daniel sang “Sana Maulit Muli” by Martin Nievera. Hurado Billy said he was very charming on stage. Hurado Billy said he should work more on executing his falsetto voice. Huradp Karylle said he should find the right song and key for his voice range.

Tawag Ng Tanghalan’s Monday daily winner is Daniel Onahon garnering an average score of 90.8 percent. Daniel Onahon sang “Time Will Reveal” to battle defending champion Sam Mangubat. Sam sang “Incomplete” by the Backstreet Boys.

Sam Mangubat is Tawag Ng Tanghalan’s Monday daily winner with an average score of 93.4 percent.

Tawag Ng Tanghalan airs every Monday to Saturday, 2:00 p.m. on ABS-CBN.
