Rosette Valencia won as Friday daily winner and Mark Laspiñas remains as defending champion with an average of 93.6 percent. Mark sang his version of the song “Sa Kanya.” Unfortunately he got the gong. Hurado Rey Valera noticed that he was really nervous and he wasn’t able to hit most of the notes of the song. Hurado Louie Ocampo and Erik Santos both agreed with rey Valera’s decision. Mark was automatically disqualified from the competition. He is an entrepreneur and a singer. His dream is to become a recording artist. He believes Tawag Ng Tanghalan is a step to reaching that dream.
