Tawag Ng Tanghalan November 4 Performances

First contender on stage was ‘dad-devoted balladeer’ 31-year-old Mark Nuqui. He plans to continue the therapy of his son who is diagnosed with autism. Mark sang his version of the song “Sa Kanya.” Unfortunately he got the gong. Hurado Rey Valera noticed that he was really nervous and he wasn’t able to hit most of the notes of the song. Hurado Louie Ocampo and Erik Santos both agreed with rey Valera’s decision. Mark was automatically disqualified from the competition.

Next on stage was music conservatory student, Rosette Valencia. Rosette is only 18 years old. The future ‘maestro singing voice’ majors in voice and her dream is to become a well known singer. Rosette sang “Bituing Walang Ningning.” Hurado Rey Valera said Rosette’s performance was breathtaking.

Third contender was ‘bibong raket-tatay’ Brent Lee. He is an entrepreneur and a singer. His dream is  to become a recording artist. He believes Tawag Ng Tanghalan is a step to reaching that dream. Brent sang John Legend’s “Ordinary People.”

Hurado Billy Crawford said Brent was able to give his twist to the song. Brent has to choose the pitch of his song better next time. Hurado Louie Ocampo said he was happy with his performance.
