Tawag Ng Tanghalan November 8 Episode: Daily Winner and New Defending Champion Jerald Castro

POPCORN TIME LIVE BLOG, RECAP: Tawag Ng Tanghalan November 8 episode is Sotelo Abarquez’s battle with new contenders. Sotelo Abarquez won as daily winner and beat Gerhard Pagusan on November 7. Tuesday daily winner is  Jerald “Jade” Castro. He won with over Sotelo with an average score of 94 percent.

Tawag Ng Tanghalan November 8 Performances

First on stage was ‘sis-star for all seasons’ Jhomelyn Buban. Jhomelyn is 24 years old. Jhomelyn graduated high school when she was 23. If she wins Tawag Ng Tanghalan, she plans to finish college. Jhomalyn sang Fantasia’s hit, “I Believe.” Hurado Nyoy Volante liked her self confidence but she just has to be careful of her low notes. Hurado Karylle said Jhomalyn’s voice was very nice and powerful.

Next on stage was ‘achi-very good voice’ Larnie Rose Cayabyab. Larnie wants to know if she has what it takes to win Tawag Ng Tanghalan. She sang “Through the Fire” to showcase her voice. Punong Hurado Rey Valera said she did a good job. She was able to hit the important notes but missed some other notes.

Last contender was singer, song writer and dancer, Jade Castro. The 40-year-old sang his version of the song “You’ve Got A Friend.” Hurado Billy Crawford said, “Sa tagal ko nang hurado, bihira ako ako makarinig ng boses ng tulad mo.”

Tawag Ng Tanghalan Tuesday Daily Winner

Tuesday daily winner is Jerald ‘Jade’ Castro with an average score of 94.2 percent. Jade sang “Bakti Kung Sino Pa” to battle Sotelo Abarquez. Defending champion Sotelo sang “One in a Million You.” Jade Castro is the new defending champion garnering an average score of 94 percent.

 

Tawag Ng Tanghalan airs every Monday to Saturday at 2:00 p.m. on ABS-CBN.
