Despite the storm, “It’s Showtime” goes on and makes the fourth day of their 7th year anniversary week something to cheer up fans all over. During the ‘Magpasikat 2016’ segment of the show, Team AnneAmyJoey gave their ‘pangmatindihan at pangmalakasang’ performance.

Team AnneAmyJoey special number was nostalgic because of a video clip that showed unforgettable experiences in the past. But a definite turn of events when Anne took it to a higher level when she and two other hosts from the show did a performance through rappelling from a building.

Tawag Ng Tanghalan October 20 Performances

First contender ‘resbaker’ from Metro Manila was Haydee Mañosca. Haydee is 47 years old from Taguig City, since she was young she has been singing in different contests and events. She lives through a ‘talipapa’ and teaches voice to other aspiring singers as well. Haydee sang “Healing” by Deniece Williams. Hurado Nyoy Volante was very pleased with her performances especially her dynamics and clarity in her pronunciation. He also commented on her techniques and her ‘layed back’ voice.

Next on stage was Recelle Ordas who sang “Gaano Ko Ikaw Mahal” by Celeste Legaspi. Recelle is a market vendor. She was a daily winner who battled Christopher Rodrigueza but unfortunately lost the battle. Punong Hurado Rey Valera was positive about her performance.

Last contender was Geoliza De Luna from Visayas. The 41-year-old tourist receptionist and mother is a singer for an LGU band. She sang “Get Here” by Oleta Adams. Hurado K Brosas said she liked the quality of her voice but she lacked the vocal riffs the song demanded.

Tawag Ng Tanghalan October 20 Daily Winner

With an average score of 93 percent, Thursday daily winner is Haydee Mañosca. Haydee sang “On My Own” by Whitney Houston. Defending champion Jeramie Sanico battled Haydee with Christina Aguilera’s “The Voice Within.”

Garnering an average score of 95 percent, Jeramie Sanico remains as Tawag ng Tanghalan’s defending champion.
