Tawag Ng Tanghalan October 26 Episode: Joselito del Agua Wednesday Daily Winner, Kim Mainit Remains as Defending Champion – Popcorn Time Live Blog

Kim Mainit battles daily winner Joselito ‘Joboy’ del Agua

Tawag Ng Tanghalan sa Showtime keeps getting more challenging as new contenders face defending champion Kim Mainit. On October 25, contenders from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao were equally very good which made it hard for Hurados to decide. With much thought, Janine Baduria came out as Tuesday daily winner but wasn’t able to beat Kim Mainit.

Will contenders today be as good as those who battled yesterday?

Tawag Ng Tanghalan October 26 Performances

Joselito ‘Joboy’ del Agua was the first contender. He sang Stevie Wonders’ “All is Fare in Love and war.” Joboy has been in a band for almost 35 years so he is not new to the entertainment industry. He joined Tawag ng Tanghalan to try to make it as his last hoorah to his career.

Hurado Louie Ocampo said he said he liked his performance and noticed how professional he was on stage. Hurado Billy Crawford also liked his performance and said it was very soulful and said he is interested in hearing more genres from Joboy. On a side note, K Brosas seemed to remember him from her previous gigs.

Next on stage was 32-year-old ‘mom-galing diva’ Aira Plaza. She supports her adopted child and gets by through her small ‘karinderia’ with her partner Melody or ‘Dudz.’ They have been together for 17 years. Aira sang “That’s what Friends Are For” by Dionne Warwick. Aira has been singing for 12-13 years. Hosts Amy and Vhong commended her for her confidence.

Hurado Rey Valera said he liked her version and style. He said, “Ang sarap pakinggan ng boses mo.”

Last contender for the day was Hazel Buendia. Hazel is 24 years old supports her siblings and dreams to be a singer on national TV. Hazel sang “Saving All My Love For You” by Whitney Houston.

Hurado K Brosas liked her voice most especially her low registers and how confident she was on stage. Hurado Yeng Constantino said her voice was strong and distinct. She met her expectations but just has to lookout for prolonging notes in some areas of the song to hit notes.
