Tawag Ng Tanghalan sa Showtime is just full of surprises. On Friday, October 28, Edzel Herrera took the title from Zed Asuncion. Zed was defending champion for only one day. On Saturday, October 29, Carlmalone Montecido took the title from Edzel as well. Carlmalone proved to be undefeated as he remained Tawag Ng Tanghalan’s defending champion.

First contender on stage was ‘resbaker’ Hazel Labores from Luzon. Hazel sang “Tila” by Lani Misalucha. Hurado Billy Crawford and Nyoy Volante liked her performance and just said Hazel needs to work on her breathing and sustaining her last notes.

Next on stage was Erika Ellaine Abu. Erikais an architecture student. She joined the show hoping to help her family. Erika sang “Till They Take My Heart Away.”

Hurado Rey Valera said Erika must just modulate her voice so that it would sound better and deeper. But overall her performance was good.

Last contender was Rowena Luna from Mindanao. Rowena is 46 years old. Rowena sang “Mahal, Ginabi Ka Nanaman.” Hurado Karylle liked her determination and of course her voice that gave so much emotion. Hurado Mitoy on the other hand liked her full voice but she has to look out for clarity.

Tawag Ng Tanghalan October 31, #ShowtimeHalloWeek Daily Winner

Garnering an average score of 90.2 percent, Monday daily winner is Hazel Labores. Hazel sang “Fallin'” to try to grab the title from Carlmalone. To battle Monday daily winner, defending champion sang “Oh My Love.”

After the battle, Carlamalone Montecido keeps his place as defending champion with an average score of 91.8 percent.

Tawag Ng Tanghalan airs every Monday to Saturday at 2:00 p.m. on ABS-CBN.
