Renato is a contender from Leyte who had to work in Manila to provide for his three daughters and sick grandma. He found a job as a bagger and eventually became a security guard and has been so for the past 10 years. His dream is to really becoming a singer, artista, and comedian someday and hopes joining TNT would help him reach that. He beat John Andrew Senora on yesterday’s episode. Contender Paolo Antenorcruz from Paranaque, sings ” Forevermore” by Side A. Paolo is a flight attendant and has been for the past three years. Because of his work, he gets to travel a lot which he loves a lot. But it is also because of this that he forgot his first love, singing. Paolo now takes the TNT stage singing this Side A hit flawlessly. The judges seem to enjoy his performance as they were all smiles through out the whole song.

Judge Kayla said Paolo had very good voice quality, vocal control, and said he was pleasing to the ears and eyes and called his performance “swabe.” Judge Louie Ocampo said he owned the song and the stage and said he was very happy with his performance.

Contnender Julie Ann Espinoza from Pampanga sings “Hiram” by Zsa Zsa Padilla. Julie Ann got the best from both her mom and dad. Her mom loves to cook and manages a small business. Julie recently worked and managed the payroll for a company under the HR department. Her dad, on the other hand, loves singing and is Julie’s partner when it comes to joining singing contests. Now, Julie Ann does everything she can to win that title on TNT.

Head judge Rey Valera said Julie’s notes were all spot on. He added how great she was able relay the message of the song. He said it will be a very difficult for the defending champion to beat today’s winner since they were all very good. Judge Rey even said TNT is looking for those who would stand out and he said Julie was indeed one of them.

Contender Rachel Bomediano from Mindanao sings “Basang Basa sa Ulan” by the Aegis. Rachel comes from a family of singers. This is partly how they help out in the family. She works as an office clerk in the mayor’s office apart from joining singing contests. Her family also sell barbecue at their community to get by. Rachel’s ultimate dream is to finish her studies and become a famous singer and teacher someday.

Judge Jaya said she had the voice but advised her to tone down on the “birit” and focus on simplicity. Judge K Brosas said all three contenders today were really good and said Rachel did her best in her performance.
