The visually impaired yet talented Carl Malone Montecido made a name for himself inspiring Filipinos everywhere during his appearance on ABS-CBN’s Tawag Ng Tanghalan Sa Showtime. His performances on the show has created an impact on peoples lives. Now, Carl Malone’s story will be told through the “TNT Blind Balladeer” episode of “Maalaala Mo Kaya” which airs on New Year’s Eve, Saturday at 7:15 p.m. Finally, people will get to know who Carl is, his journey and why he inspires a lot of people. Carl Malone Montecido On Tawag Ng Tanghalan Sa Showtime

On October 29, Carl took the “golden mikropono” from then defending champion Edzel Herrera. Since then, Carl Malone grabbed four wins and was one win short of being included in the semi finals. On November 3, Mark Laspiñas won as the show’s champion overthrowing Carl Malone as defending champion.

Since Carl was on the show, the support of Filipinos here and abroad was overwhelming. On the show’s Tawag Ng Tanghalan Online, fans all over would greet him, send him messages and would say how they were so inspired by his voice and story.

In Pilipinas Popcorn’s previous article stating events that happened during the November 3 episode of Tawag Ng Tanghalan, a comment from one of the netizens showed how disappointed they were on the judges’ decision of not giving him his 5th win.

The comment stated, “I am so frustrated about the decision of the judges, Carlmalone , sings so beautifully, he has a very powerful voice, perfect diction and interpretative , I was surprised when Mark won, I just can’t understand how they judged, are they being unfair? Or just deaf or doesn’t identify what is good and not good. Mark sings good also,but he is only second to Carlmalone . Truly the show is tawag ng tang galan. Shame on you judges. Carlmalone to us you are still the winner,kudos to you Carlmanole,just continue singing coz you’re such a classical singer.”

This is just one of many other supporters who see Carl Malone’s talent and heart while he was on the show giving his best performance each and every time he was on the show.

Carl Malone Montecido On Pilipinas Got Talent 2010

Apparently, Tawag Ng Tanghalan isn’t the first stage Carl has owned. In 2010, Carl Malone joined “Pilipinas Got Talent” and even at a young age, he expressed how determined he was in winning competitions like this so he could help his family and also himself. Carl has made it to the semi-finals of the show. Lucky Manzano and Billy Crawford who were the hosts of the show and judges Ai Ai delas Alas and Kris Aquino and were moved by his story and his talent.

Carl Malone is from Bacolod City. He was was born blind and according to an interview with Carl Malone’s mom on the show, Carl’s mom said the doctors couldn’t give any assurance that he could see again even if he was given an operation. Carl is now eighteen years old.
