The worship leader from Knoxville, Tennesse made his coach proud giving Alicia her first win on the show. Chris beat three other finalists bringing home the title beating two other contenders from Team Blake and contender from Team Adam. The premiere of The Voice 2017 Season 12 aired on Feb. 27 and ended on Tuesday, May 23. Chris Blue survived the Blind Auditions, The Battles, The Knockouts, and the Live Shows. Here’s a quick rundown of Chris Blue’s songs on the show since he started during the Blind auditions. Chris sang “The Tracks Of My Tears” and Alicia Keys was so excited the moment he sang his first note and decided to turn around just before the audition ended. Chris was also the last contender to perform during the last episode of the Blind Auditions on March 14. During The Battles, Chris performed “Adorn” and battled RJ Collins for a spot in the Knockouts. It was then when Alicia chose Chris over RJ. Winning the Battles took him to the Knockouts. During the Knockouts, it was Chris vs Quizz Swanigan. Chris sang “Superstition” while his opponent sang “Chains.” Chris won the round while Quizz was stolen by coach Gwen Stefani. During the Live Playoffs, Chris sang “Love On The Brain” which gained him public’s vote and allowed him to advance to the Top 12. During week two of the Live Shows, Chris performed “Love And Happiness” which also earned him a spot on the Top 11. The next week, He sang “When A Man Loves A Woman” which saved him from being part of the week’s bottom two. Chris was not part of the Top 10. During that week, Chris sang Bruno Mars’ hit “24K Magic” which also saved him a spot in the semi-finals. “Take Me To The King” was the song Chris performed for the semi-finals which brought him to the finals. “Rythm Nation” was Chris’ winning piece during the finals.
