The Voice Season 11 is down to its top 10 contestants, and in the November 28 episode, the remaining contestants performed live once again. This night’s performances will be followed by a double-elimination night on November 29.

According to various reports on the live performances, a few contestants stood out, while others may already be in the running for elimination.

Predictions Based On Performances

According to a recap and review by Entertainment Weekly, the strongest performances came from Team Adam, Team Alicia and Team Blake. Among the most cited performances is that of Bobby Gilman, Team Adam. Singing a song that harks back to his country roots, the review said he nailed his performance with an emotional number with an extra twist towards the end. Yet another Team Adam member, Josh Gallagher gave a “rock-solid” performance with another country song.

For Team Alicia, the review singled out We McDonald, who sang “God Bless the Child” by Billie Holiday. According to the review, she gave her most “charismatic” performance so far. Lastly, Team Blake’s Sundance Head joins the top four. Being part of the country genre, he performed Tom T. Hall’s “Me and Jesus” with a bluegrass flair. The review called it a “fun performance.”

What About Team Miley?

Between the two members of Team Miley, Ali Caldwell and Aaron Gibson, the EW report predicts that one of them will go home. Ali Caldwell gave her rendition of “Without You” by Harry Nilsson, which according to The Hollywood Reporter ended with a standing ovation by all the four judges. It is Aaron Gibson that is in danger of elimination because of his understated performance.

On a more personal note however, Miley cannot be happier. Her fiance, Liam Hemsworth, gave her a ring for her 24th birthday. According to MSN Entertainment, the ring was not an ordinary ring, but a “rainbow, gem-filled ring.”

Taking to Instagram to show off her gift, she said: “Look at datttt Rainboooowwwwwwww rock! You always know how to make my “grubby little kid fingers” SHINE!!! (P.S. please take notice of that beautiful packaging!!!!)”
