Share on Facebook Share on Twitter So, what’s new and awesome in The Voice Season 11? Well, for the first time ever, there are two female coaches this season– #NoMakeupRevolution advocate Alicia Keys and eclectic pop star Miley Cyrus. Another exciting tidbit is that country music’s royal couple, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, are this season’s key advisors of the singers who make it to the knockout rounds. This has definitely raised the bar for #TheVoice11 contenders. Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus spice up ‘The Voice’ Last season’s judges were Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Pharrell Williams and Christina Aguilera. This time around, Adam and Blake remain as coaches but Pharrell is replaced by Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus has taken Christina’s spot. It is not the first time, however, that The Voice is having Alicia and Miley. In fact, this season’s appearance is their second. Keys was the advisor for Team Pharrell in the Battles of Season 7 and Cyrus was season 10’s key advisor. This is a whole new level for both Alicia and Miley as they transition from being advisors to judges. Faith Hill and Tim McGraw share prized advice during Knockouts In the knockouts, Tim and Faith will be giving advice to the contestants from all four teams before they perform. These insights are from two of the most respected musicians in the industry and such rare opportunity is valuable in the singers’ musical careers. The knockout rounds is the last challenge singers would need to overcome before the Voice live shows where America decides who stays and who goes.
