After all 3 teen artists have performed, voting lines will open and the public can vote through text or through Google. Voting will last for only a few minutes. The hosts will announce when they are closing the voting for a team. Teen operatic singer Micah goes on stage first, with her own version of Bridge Over Troubled Water. Sarah called her performance “amazing,” and said that she was able to sing pop music without losing her style. The teen artist from Davao, Chan chose Overjoyed by Stevie Wonder. After his performance, Bamboo said his performance was effortless. Finally, Patricia takes the stage with Fix You and she dedicates the song to her grandfather, her inspiration in singing. Team Sharon’s Alessandra, Christy and Jeremy As voting lines opened for FamiLea, it is now Team Sharon’s turn on stage. First up was Alessandra, who chose a very challenging song, Rico J. Puno’s version of The Way We Were. Lea says that she has a very good feeling that she will be seeing Alessandra next week. Next up is Christy, who chose singing over a career in medicine. She picks Shine as her song in the live show. Sarah says she truly shined in her performance tonight. The final teen artist from Team Sharon is Jeremy, who grew up in the United States. He picks an OPM song by Gary Valenciano, How Did You Know. Bamboo loved that he sang from the heart. Tabulation for FamiLea was first presented. Luis announced that Micah was saved by voters, with 45.80 per cent of the votes. Coach Lea then picked her second teen artist for the Top 8 and she chooses Chan. It is now Team Sharon’s turn. Toni announced that Jeremy made it with 51.73 per cent of the votes. Coach Sharon then chooses Christy to be part of Top 8. Team Sarah’s Jona, Ivan And Nisha On July 16, the teen artists of Team Sarah went on stage first. Jona was first to perform. The youngest in the competition at 13, this artist from Davao chose an upbeat song Symphony as her piece. The coaches praised her for her energetic and passionate performance. Finally, Nisha challenges herself with an Adele song, All I Ask. As usual, she slays it, leaving coach Lea saying that her talent was versatile. Come tabulation time, Nisha topped public voting, which save her spot in the Top 8. Coach Sarah chose to go with young Jona to complete her top 2 teen artists. Kamp Kawayan’s Queenie, Isabela And Emarjhun When it came to Kamp Kawayan, teen artists Queenie, Isabela and Emarjhun did not disappoint. Queenie was first on stage with her version of Asin’s Itanong Mo Sa Mga Bata, which showed how much of a storyteller she was, with a unique sound. Celebrity daughter Isabela on the other hand performed What A Girl Wants. Coach Bamboo said he was very impressed as always. When it was Emarjhun’s turn, all the coaches clearly loved his powerful rendition of It’s A Man’s Man’s Man’s World as he got a standing ovation.
