Last weekend, only three young artists made it to the teams. Team Sharon, after unable to boost its line up last week, added two to its roster this week. The last young artist chose to join Team Lea. Click here for a recap of the April 22 and April 23 episodes. #VoiceTEENSpiration Young Artists Share Their Stories The first young artist is Jay Emmanuel Macatuno from Pampanga. He shares that their family used to be well-off and as a kid, he had everything he wanted. Now, he says that he is content with what he has. His family on the other hand wishes him success as he pursues his singing career. He comes on stage to perform Mahirap Magmahal Ng Syota Ng Iba and has two coaches, Lea and Bamboo turn. Both coaches say that his singing brings out his unique personality. He eventually chooses to go to Kamp Kawayan. Next up is a young artist from Tagbilaran City, Bohol. Brandon Ungab says that both of his parents are singers. His father sings abroad, while his mother sings in local hotels. He also composes his own songs. After he sings Start Back At One, coaches Lea and Sharon turned for him. Brandon then chooses the coach he says will help him in his The Voice journey, who is Lea. The third young artist Kyril Queenie Ugdiman from Iloilo City. The Voice first Grand Champion Mitoy Yonting gave Kyryll and her family the good news. She shares that she was raised by her grandfather, while her mom works as an OFW in Dubai. She sings Scared To Death with only coach Bamboo turning. Bamboo said he was attracted to the emotion in her voice. The final artist to audition is Jona Marie Soquite from Davao City. She lives near a river in the city, which is dangerous for her family. She aptly chooses Anak Ng Pasig as her song and she slays it. She has all four coaches’ chairs turn. After each of them said their piece to convince her, Jona eventually chooses to be part of Team Sarah. The Voice Teens returns tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. with a fresh set of young artists.
