June 10 on the Voice Teens on ABS-CBN brings the second night of battles. Competition gets much fiercer as teen artists are paired up to sing songs selected by their coaches. Team Sarah takes the stage for the first battle of the night. Pairing two teen artists with similar vocals, Sarah chose Nothing Compares To You for Nisha and Erika. During rehearsals, the two teens demonstrate their powerful voices as they get tips from their coach. Coach Sarah also puts in some extra time to chat with each artist to prepare them for the battle.

Although Nisha comes out as the more confident performer, Erika still does her best during the performance. The other three coaches unanimously said they would go with Nisha for this battle. Coach Sarah eventually chose Nisha as the winner.

Coach Bamboo paired gregarious teen artist Jem and soft-spoken Jouie Anne. He chooses a mash up of two OPM songs: Pag-ibig and Masaya. During rehearsals, Jem seemed to be the more confident so coach Bamboo told Jouie to start opening up. Their battle performance impressed the coaches, with Lea calling in an even fight and so well done. When the coach was asked to choose, Bamboo went with Jem.

FamiLea teen artists paired off for this battle are Chan and Clark. They come on stage to perform their own rendition of Linkin Park’s In The End. Two coaches were impressed with Clark’s performance but in the end, Lea had to choose the winner – and she chose with Davao boy Chan.

The final battle of the night comes from Team Sharon. She pairs off two non-Filipino speakers, Jeremy and Heather to sing a Filipino song, Sana Maulit Muli. Both teens confess that learning to get rid of their accents in order to sing Filipino perfectly was challenging. But both teens nailed their performance, making coach Lea comment that she found it “so beautiful.” After Sharon chooses Jeremy to continue on, Bamboo sweeps down to steal Heather.

The Voice Teens airs on ABS-CBN every Saturday at 7:15 p.m. and every Sunday at 7:00 p.m.
