The Voice Teens is edging closer to the live shows. On July 2, the teen artists of FamiLea take on the knockouts. Who will coach Lea pick to represent her team in the next round?

Coach Bamboo has spoken and has picked Emarjhun, Queenie and Isabela for the live shows. Like him, coaches Sharon and Sarah also need to let go of 6 of their 9 teen artists when it’s their turn for the knockouts.

FamiLea Knockout Rounds

Coach Lea chooses the first three artists who will go for the first round and she picks Brandon, Shell and Micah. According to her, these artists usually surprise her during performances. Brandon chooses an APO Hiking Society song, Panalangin which he dedicates to his celebrity crush. Shell on the other hand selects Somewhere Out There. The classical singer, Micah, goes back to Broadway with Think Of Me from Phantom of the Opera.

After all the impressive performances, coach Lea once again said that she was taken by surprise. But when asked to choose, she eventually goes with Micah.

The next round of artists on stage are Julian, Chan and Felipe. Julian, the most emotional singer in the bunch, takes on John Legend’s All Of Me. The youngest in the group, Chan goes with The Last Time. Reggae singer Felipe chooses an Asin song, Usok for his knockout song. Coach Lea makes the hard choice for this group and picks Chan for the live shows. He is also the unanimous choice of the other coaches.

When it comes to the final round, FamiLea’s vocal powerhouse teens have to fight for the final live show slot: Erica, Patricia and Sophia. Whitney Houston’s I Have Nothing is Erica’s knockout song choice. Patricia and Sophia were both stolen by coach Lea during the battles. Patricia goes with an OPM folk song, Asin’s Ang Buhay Ko. Sophia also goes with an OPM song, Narito Ako. It takes coach Lea a while to decide but she eventually chooses Patricia.

The Voice Teens airs every Saturday at 7:15 p.m. and every Sunday at 7:00 p.m. on ABS-CBN.
