Get your tissues ready because here’s another heart-wrenching Korean to Filipino adaptation from the director, Nuel C. Naval! Starring JC Santos and Yassi Pressman, More than Blue dives into the lives of orphaned best friends K and Cream. When K learns that he is going to die of cancer within a year, he sets aside his own feelings and makes it his goal to make Cream find love with a man who he knows will take care of her when he is gone. With the success of his Filipino adaptation of “Miracle in Cell No. 7”, you can bet that Director Naval will once again pull at your heartstrings and make you ugly-cry in the best possible way. My Husband, My Lover

You might be put off when you find out that this new movie once again focuses on the “I cheated on my spouse” plotline. But-! Hear us out. This 2021 film is written by none other than award-winning, veteran screenwriter Ricky Lee. The story centers on the complicated experience of a woman who cheats on her current lover with her ex-husband. The catch? The partner she’s cheating on is the very reason why she left her husband in the first place. Sounds exciting? Infuriating?
