Michael Bay’s Letter, ‘Every Movie Will Interlink’ In Michael Bay’s letter posted on his website, he opened with stating that he’s been “living” in the “Transformers” franchise for ten years now. For the new film “Transformers: The Last Knight,” he revealed that his team put together a “writer’s room” specifically to expand the story’s mythology in a different way since every movie will interlink. These group of writers which he enumerated one by one in his letter, had to work in the summer of 2015 with over 10,000 concept images from movies, cartoons and comic books in what he called a “fan’s dream room,” just to figure out where the story could go. Michael Bay in his letter said, “I can safely say that there’s never been a Transformers film with the huge visual scope and expansive mythology as this movie, The Last Knight.” Bay added how “bittersweet ” it was for him to say that every “Transformer” film would be his last and how somehow he would always come back for the almost 120 million fans who watch out for the movie. Bay said, “This film was especially fun to shoot. But, this time might really be it. So I’m blowing this one out.” Bay closed with the statement, “It’s a final chapter and a new beginning. Here’s the writers’ log line: The hunted will become heroes. Heroes will become villains. Only one world will survive: theirs, or ours.” ‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ Synopsis The synopsis for the upcoming film was revealed via the “Transformers” Facebook page.
