Miss Universe 2016 has just ended and Filipinos people could not stop talking about Miss Universe Philippines Maxine Medina. Maxine made it to the final six but failed to make it to the final three. What’s making headlines though was Maxine Medina’s answer during the question and answer portion.

As earlier reported, Maxine Medina answered the Question and Answer portion ahead of the other final 6. She asked for an interpreter to be with her during this portion. Steve Harvey asked the question, “What is the most significant change you’ve seen in the last 10 years?” After hearing her interpreter translate it, she proceeded to answer the question in English.

Her answer was: “The last 10 years of being here in the world is that I saw all the people bringing in one event like this in Miss Universe, it’s something big for us,  we are one, we are one nation all together.”
