The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has detected a new typhoon. PAGASA named it “Caloy.” But its international name will be “Jelewat.”
PAGASA said that Caloy will be the third typhoon to hit the Philippines this year. Since Holy Week is around the corner, here’s this week’s weather forecast.
Typhoon Caloy, weekly forecast
According to an article from ABS-CBN, PAGASA estimated Caloy 1,025 kilometers East of Surigao City. Although there is an incoming typhoon, PAGASA Forecaster Ariel Reyes claims that weather will still be fair during Holy Week. The storm will only bring light rains in Eastern Visayas and Caraga Region.
Weather will be sunny in the City of Makati. The city will experience a bit of heat during the weekday. The temperature peaks at 31 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, Manila will also experience the same heat. At 31 degrees Celsius, Manila will be a bit cloudy. Clouds will cover the Queen City of the South, Cebu on March 28. The temperature is at 30 degrees Celsius.
In the City of Baguio, residents might need jackets and sweaters on Wednesday. At 18 degrees Celsius, the city will be cloudy with a chance of rain showers. Thursday is a different story as the temperature continues to drop. The forecast will be 17 degrees Celsius in temperature with an afternoon shower. As the week transitions into the weekend, Friday will give a Sunny and Cool vibe. The temperature is at 17 degrees Celsius still. On Black Saturday, an afternoon shower will fall. It will still be cold at 17 degrees Celsius.
