Mobile Legends: Bang Bang SEA Cup 2019 is the region’s most coveted elite-level tournament where teams of twelve from nine countries compete in a battle to be crowned the best in Southeast Asia and for the grand cash prize. MSC is supported by its sponsors Smart and Realme and it is presented by Moonton.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang was first created in 2016 by Shanghai Moonton Technology and has since then taken over the world of mobile gaming. The online game is a multiplayer battle arena designed for mobile phones. You play the game by fighting the opposing team trying to destroy their base while defending your own base. Mobile Legends has since then gone international, where teams from different countries fight to win the grand cash prize.

MSC 2019 Updates

MSC 2019 Teams and Format

Twelve teams from nine different Southeast Asian countries were invited to the event that was held at the Araneta Coliseum, making it the first time an Esports tournament will be held at the historic place . Mobile Legends Southeast Asia Cup 2019 took place on June 21-23 where the teams competed for a share of the ₱6.26 million (US$120,000) cash prize.

The twelve teams were grouped separately after the draw that happened on June 19 and 20, 2019. Group A comprises of Bren Esports (PH), Geek Fam (MY), and IDNS (TH). Meanwhile, Group B comprises of ArkAngel (PH), EVOS (SG), and Overlockers (Viet). Group C is RSO (Burma), DG (KH), and Louvre (INA). Lastly, Group D comprises of Onic Esports (INA), Burmese Ghouls (Burma), and Wawa Gaming (Laos).

MSC 2019 Champion

Due to their disciplined gameplay and strategic thinking, Onic Esports from Indonesia bounced back after a rocky start and has now claimed the first spot in the MSC 2019 finals. Onic Esports is victorious after defeating Louvre in the finals, earning them the title and a crash prize of US $69,102.
