‘Moonlight Over Baler’ is Historically Bittersweet – Feb. 8

This classic story of love was set in the 1940’s during World War II and during the Edsa Revolution in the 80’s. It features the magnificence of Baler, Aurora that is reminiscent of the tragic love affair of Fidela (Elizabeth Oropesa) and Nestor (Vin Abrenica). When a Japanese photojournalist, Kenji (also played by Vin), arrives on the shores of Baler, nostalgia begins to steer the plot that sees through a bittersweet story. The movie’s main cast also includes Ellen Adarna and Sophie Albert.

Christian Grey and Ana Steele Get ‘Fifty Shades Darker’- Feb. 8

The sequel to “Fifty Shades of Grey” revolves around how Ana tries to get over Christian and move on with her life. Christian, on the other hand, feeling nothing but pain, asks her to continue with their romance. As they try to begin again, Christian’s past gets in the way. Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan stars in this film along with Luke Grimes, Kim Basinger, Eloise Mumfort and Max Martini.

It Takes A Road Trip To Hear, ‘I’m Drunk, I Love You’ – Feb. 15

“Ikaw nalang ang umaasa, kahit yung pag-asa nag-give up na sa’yo.” The film’s sentiment is felt in two friends who have issues with staying platonic. When Maja Salvador and Paulo Avelino take a road trip, they come face-to-face with their feelings for each other. Everyone can relate to this internal turmoil of realizing that you have fallen in love with your best friend. Will the confession be worth it?

LizQuen Answers the Bakit List with ‘My Ex and Whys’ – February 15

In the film, Liza Soberano is “Cali,” a blogger who runs “The Bakit List.” She has an ex-boyfriend named “Gio” (Enrique Gil), who suddenly appears in her life after causing her much pain in the past.
