Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale make everyone feel nostalgic with Sharpay and Garbiella’s first duet ever in the song “Ex’s & Oh’s.” The video was uploaded via Ashley Tisdale’s YouTube account on January 3 and has had over 3M views already.” High School Musical” fans for sure take up a chunk of that number.

It is unbelievable to think that Vanessa and Ashley never actually sang together throughout “High School Musical” which became a hit  in 2006. Pretty sure fans of the movie are extremely happy to see rivals Gabriella Montez and Sharpey Evans share a song together. The shy transfer student and the high school diva can get along after all.

The video below that has gone viral is part of Ashley Tisdale’s Music Sessions series. Ashley started with saying, “Welcome back to Music Sessions! I read all your comments and you guys wanted one very special guest and so I brought her in — my best friend, Vanessa Hudgens!”

After the introduction Tisdale expressed how excited they were to do the duet and said, “We did not have a song in High School Musical, just the two of us. We always wanted one, too! So now we’re here.” The cover is Elle King’s song “Ex & Oh’s” and was arranged by French according to Entertainment Weekly.

Early October last year, Disney Channel President Gary Marsh confirmed a new installment of the hit TV movie franchise, “High School Musical 4.” The new installment doesn’t include Vanessa’s character although Ashley may be doing cameo appearances. “High School Musical 4” is rumored to premiere in 2018.
