A viral video of a Starbucks barista calmly dealing with an irate customer has been making the rounds since November 13. In the video, the barista remained calm while talking to a customer. Netizens praised her composure while in this situation. The customer on the other hand became subject to harsh words from netizens who have seen the video.

The first video shows an angry male customer shouting to a female barista. Even after the barista apologizes several times, he continues his angry tirade. For some unknown reason, he also said things like “What if I am a mystery shopper evaluating all Starbucks employees right now?”

The second one also shows the customer still talking with a loud voice. In this video, he tells the barista to find him and his friends a table outside so he can smoke. The barista naturally obliges his request, but even before she goes and finds a table, the customer goes off again. This time, he demands that the barista move quickly, saying that she has three minutes to find him a table.

According to a post by Facebook user Yanyan Bautista, the incident occurred at Starbucks Megamall Building A, on November 13. The post said that the customer was angry because he almost got spilled on, although it was not clear with what and by whom.


The FB user said that their quiet conversation was suddenly interrupted by an angry customer shouting at the Starbucks barista. He also noted that the customer demanded that the barista get them a table outside, shouting “I am giving you three minutes to process that! And three minutes start now!”

He continued to witness how the customer treated the barista. At some point, the barista returned to tell him that there was no vacant table. The customer, according to Yanyan, started shouting again, saying “Is it our fault?”

He also praised the barista for calmly dealing with this kind of situation. Most netizens shared this sentiment.
