On The Voice Teens June 17 episode of the Voice Teens, one of the most-awaited battles happened tonight – the battle between Team Sharon artists Mike and Miko. After their respective blind auditions, both teen artists made waves on social media, earning their own fans.

Shy Miko’s looks were even compared to Stranger Things star Millie Brown. Their fans also made it clear on Twitter that they wanted both artists to be paired off during the battle round. So their performance of One Direction’s Perfect brought on so much thrills.

As The Battles Continue, Competition Heats Up

Their performance, which coach Lea described as “fun,” indeed brought kilig to the audience, especially the girls. As they were singing, they were acting as if they were serenading the coaches and the audience. When coach Sharon was asked to choose who will go with her to the knockouts, she went with Mike. Unfortunately for Miko, his the Voice journey ends here.

Intensity is the best word that describes these teen artists from Team Sarah. The next battle is between two powerful singers, Sophia and Tanya. Since You’ve Been Gone was the song their coach picked for them. Despite their own challenges during rehearsals, both girls slayed their performance. Bamboo said that theirs was a fresh take of the song. Lea on the other hand said she loved Sophia’s angst. Coach Sarah picked Tanya as the winner of this battle. Sophia’s journey however does not end, as coach Lea pressed the steal button.

Team Lea takes the stage for the next battle with Erica and Jomar. They take on a duet of Makita Kang Muli, and despite Jomar’s cough, they were able to perform it well. Sarah and Sharon both praised Jomar for his voice. But when it came down to choosing the winner, Lea chose to go with Erica.

Another Team Sarah pair goes up for battle next – Archie and Bryan. Sarah picked Heaven Knows for these two teens who have the same voice quality and style of singing. During the performance, both teens gave their best, earning praises from the other coaches. Coach Sarah took her time deciding who to choose, but she eventually picked Bryan.

June 18 on the Voice Teens will feature the last set of battles, after which the teens will have to brace for a fiercer knockout round. The Voice Teens airs on ABS-CBN every Saturday at 7:15 p.m. and every Sunday at 7:00 p.m.
