With the teams slowly filling up, the coaches become more choosy about their teen artists. Last May 20, no teen artist was able to make all 4 coaches turn. Will one of the teens wow the coaches tonight? #VoiceteensSummerHits Teens With Stories Our first teen artist is Alessandra Galvez, 16, from Quezon City. She is the eldest among three sisters and she reveals that her youngest sister auditioned for The Voice Kids, but did not make it. She continues her family’s dream tonight. Singing a different arrangement of Oops I Did It Again, she gets Sarah and Sharon to turn for her. When it came to her decision, she picked Sharon as her coach in her journey. Julian Juangco, 16, also hails from Quezon City. This teen is an admitted fan of old songs, being a fan of Michael Buble. He comes on stage singing For Once In My Life. His performance made one coach turn, Lea, so he becomes part of FamiLea. Erika Tenorio, tells her story that she was a victim of bullying in school. She also says she writes songs about her experiences. She picks I Don’t Wanna Talk About It as her audition piece. Sarah turns for her making her part of Team Sarah. The Voice Teens Fight For Their Dreams The next teen to audition is Angelo Go, from Narvacan, Ilocos Sur. He says that he was born with a cleft palate and that he underwent two operations for it. He uses music to boost his self-confidence. He also wants to serve as an inspiration to other young people. Singing Tatsulok, he has coaches Lea and Bamboo turning for him. He eventually chooses coach Bamboo. Next up is Jovy Battung from Cabanatuan City, who sings and dances as well. He tries his hand tonight with his rendition of Habang May Buhay. He was however not lucky enough to have a coach turn for him. The final teen to audition tonight hails from Kuwait. Born to a Pakistani father and a Filipino mother, Tanya Dawood wishes to have an opportunity to pursue her dream as a singer. Two coaches turn for her – Sarah and Sharon. She chooses to go to Team Sarah. The Voice Teens airs on ABS-CBN every Saturday at 7:15 p.m. and every Sunday at 7:00 p.m. Related Story: The Voice Teens May 20 Recap: John Lloyd Cruz Thrills Teens And Coaches Congratulations Alessandra!
