On the April 23 episode of the Voice Teens, the third night of blind auditions continues. The coaches continue to search for the right voice for their team. After last night’s episode, Teams Lea, Sarah and Bamboo got one young artist each, while Sharon was not able to get one artist.
#TheVoiceBigaTEENS Young Convent Boy Picks Coach Sharon
The first to audition tonight is 15-year old Darryl Sevillejo from Negros Oriental. He is currently a working student, working as a convent boy in order to pay for his studies.
He comes on stage to sing Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala by Ogie Alcasid. Towards the end of his performance, Sharon and Lea turn their chairs for him. Lea said that the emotion in his voice was what made her turn. Sharon on the other hand said that his was the voice she was looking for. Darryl eventually chose to be part of Team Sharon.
#TheVoiceBigaTEENS FamiLea Gets Another Member
Justine Narvios from Cebu City then took the stage. News about her audition was shared to her by special the Voice correspondent Darren Espanto. Unfortunately, her performance did not result in any chair turns.
The third to audition is Franz Dacanay, 17 years old from San Juan City, Metro Manila. Even at a young age, he is already is business-minded, helping his parents earn a living. He chose to sing an old love song Right Here Waiting. The three female coaches turned for him.
After the three coaches spoke their piece, Franz eventually chose Lea.
#TheVoiceBigaTEENS Sharon Gets Second Teen Artist
Alyssa Grace Datu from Toronto, Canada is up next. Born and raised in Canada, she is currently a student and has a part time job as well. Her rendition of Tanging Ikaw resulted in another four chair turn.
The coaches tried to outdo each other in trying to convince Alyssa to pick them. Both Sarah and Lea agreed that she had such a pure voice and was easy to listen to. Alyssa then picked Sharon as her coach.
The Voice Teens airs on ABS-CBN airs every Saturday at 7:15 p.m. and every Sunday at 7:00 p.m.
