The cast of the hit Netflix series “13 Reasons Why ” gave thirteen reasons why they love fans through a video posted on Facebook on March 17. The video has since gone viral and gave fans more reasons to be excited for Season 2.
The heartfelt message posted on Facebook has had over 400k views and around 7k shares since around seven hours of posting as of writing. Video messages from the key characters Dylan Minnette (Clay), Katherine Langford (Hannah), Christian Navarro (Tony), Miles Heizer (Alex), Alisha Boe (Jessica), Ross Butler (Zach), Justine Prentice (Bryce), Devin Druid (Tyler), Ajiona Alexus (Sheri), Brandon Flynn (Justin), Steven Silver (Marcus), Michele Slene Ang (Courtney), Brandon Larracuente (Jeff), and Tommy Dorfman (Ryan).

The video opened with Clay telling fans that they’ve seen all the love and support given to the hit TV series. “It means the world to us and we can’t thank you enough but we want to try.” Clay then said, “Here are thirteen reasons why you matter to us.” One by one the cast gave their own personal reason why they love their fans so much.
The first reason was given by Jessica. She said fans talk openly about the important thing depicted on the show. Tyler gave the second reason saying fans pay attention to details and have hilarious fan theories. The third reason was from Clay and he said fans didn’t get angry at Clay for not listening to the tapes faster. At least not that much.
Fourth was an adorable message from Jeff and when he just said, “You like me.” Fifth reason was from one of the most hated characters, Bryce. He said, “You love and support me even though I play a really bad guy on the show.” Hannah was up next. She gave the sixth reason saying fans fell for her American accent. If you are a fan, you would know that Katherine Langford is Australian. Justine was up next with the seventh reason and said fans were able to make a “Sid And Nancy” reference. The eight reason was from Sheri. She said fans came up with awesome fan art.
The ninth was from Zach. He said fans were honest and were willing to be vulnerable. Courtney had a serious face giving the tenth reason. She said fans think that everyone derves a second chance. Ryan gave the eleventh reason saying, “You belive in our story.” Marcus was up next with the twelfth reason. He said fans stand up against bullying, sexual violence, and discrimination. Tony gave the thirteenth reason saying, “You guys take care of each other and support each other even though you’re all strangers. He went on to thank fans saying, “From the bottom of our hearts, Thank You.”
Oh yes, there was a last reason. The fourteenth reason. Alex said, “We wouldn’t be here without you so thank you so much. See you next season.”
13 Reasons Why Cast lived together during filming. Did you know that the cast of “13 Reasons Why” actually loved together during filming? A report by Teen Vogue confirms this report and said that they all hung out in the same apartment building. Apparently, none of the cast lived in or near filming location which was in San Rafael, California. It was actully a coincidence according to the report, since the area didn’t have too much options. Alisha who plays Jessica said, “I lived two doors down from Christian and everyday after set I would go voer to his place and watch RuPauls Drag Race.”
“13 Reasons Why” Season 2 release date has no final release date yet but it is a relief to know that we will see more of Clay, Hannah, and the rest of the gang.
