“The Voice Kids” Philippines Season 2 winner and “Your Face Sounds Familiar” contender Elha Nympha is the first ever Filipino to set foot on the stage of the hit US TV series “Little Big Shots” hosted by Steve Harvey.
Elha Nympha is chosen as one of twelve children all over the world to join “Little Big Shots” in its second season. Elha revealed on her Instagram account the official poster with the caption, “Who? Looks familiar.” This talented 12-year-old girl said in an interview that she flew to the US to shoot the teaser.
Elha Nympha On ‘Little Big Shots’ teaser
In the sneak peek of “Little Big Shots” Season 2 released on YouTube last Feb. 17, Elha was up for a starter. She sang a prelude to the teaser using her own tune and lyrics to introduce the show before Harvey appears on screen. Harvey stresses how fun the season would be having another set of talented, playful and smart kids.
And just so you know, Elha doesn’t just appear at the beginning of the teaser. You will be surprised to see her singing Sia’s hit song “Chandelier” at the end of the teaser, too! “This little girl can sing!” says Harvey amazed by Elha’s perforamance. Save the best for last indeed. Way to go, Elha!
Elha Nympha on ‘Little Big Questions’
In “Little Big Questions” segment of the show “Little Big Shots,” the young talents were asked the question, “What would you do if you were president of the United States?” With so many playful and smart answers from the young talents, our very own adorable Elha responded intelligently that she will build a foundation for animals. Some of the contenders answered whatever they had on their mind like “buy an island,” “take away all children’s homework,”or order a thousand pizzas.” Others thought of bigger things like “make everyone do nice things and stop throwing trash around,” or “put anyone who would hurt the planet in jail for a week or a month. Elha Nympha answered the question saying, “Build a foundation for animals.”
Elha Nympha, What We Know so Far
The young singer was born on April 16, 2004, in Paranaque City. She started singing at the age of 3 and finally made a breakthrough in the music industry when she won the title of The Voice Kids Season 2 winner in 2015 under the mentorship of Francisco “Bamboo” Manalac. Nympha is currently a contestant in the ABS-CBN’s reality-variety show Your Face Sounds familiar Kids.
“Little Big Shots” is a reality show hosted by Steve Harvey and produced by Ellen DeGeneres. The Season 2 will start airing on March 5 in the US and on the 6th in the Philippines.
