“My Ex And Whys” lead stars Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil begin their nationwide mall tour at 3 p.m. Saturday at Fisher Mall in Quezon City. Ever since Star Cinema announced #MyExAndWhys, Lizquen fans have been excited to see this film with a ‘Koreanovela’ vibe, directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina. Liza and Enrique portray the role of ex-couple in the movie. Fans are predicting their characters will find their way back to each other. However, the anticipated reunion is only part of the excitement. Fans are looking forward to seeing Lizquen in Seoul, South Korea, where important romantic scenes were filmed.

It’s a story about a girl who couldn’t forgive a cheating boyfriend, who claims he only made one mistake. It is set in the millienials’ milieu, where brands chase after social media followers. With many relatable situations and characters, it is safe to assume Star Cinema is having another box office hit.

Lizquen fans have already marked their calendars. “My Ex And Whys” will open in cinemas on Feb. 15, a day after Valentine’s Day.

To promote the movie, the lead stars will go on mall tours from Feb. 4. The tour will culminate in a grand Valentine’s Day premiere at SM Megamall on Feb. 14. On Feb. 5, Lizquen will be at SM Novaliches. On Feb. 11, fans can see Lizquen at SM Manila, at 4 p.m., and at Fairview Terraces at 6 p.m. On Feb. 12, Lizquen will be at Market Market at 5 p.m., and Starmall Alabang at 7p.m.

The celebrity couple will fly to Cebu on Feb. 13. They will greet the fans at SM Cebu and SM Seaside Cebu ahead of their big premiere night. Young moviegoers are expected to watch ‘My Ex and Whys’ as part of their Valentine’s date with friends, family and significant others.

“My Ex And Whys” has already drawn in a million YouTube views via the official account of Star Cinema alone. Some of the fans’ favorite movie quotes from the trailer include, “Pangit ba ‘ko?” It has been making the rounds online as a meme, an animated GIF and a #hugot one-liner on Twitter.
