The 65th Miss Universe Pageant came to a close yesterday, Jan 30. Miss France Iris Mittinaere made the headlines as she was crowned Miss Universe 2016. But she wasn’t the only one making headlines. Miss Netherlands caught the attention of many even if she didn’t make it to the final nine or even the final thirteen. It was Miss Netherland’s dance video that made her instantly famous. The greatest part was she didn’t even know she was being filmed.

Miss Netherlands Zoey Ivory Dances To Beyonce’s ‘Single Ladies’

Miss Netherlands was lined up in her evening gown together with all other contestants during the Miss Universe 2016 rehearsals on January 26.  According to the Inquirer, it was at this time when Mss Netherlands, Zoey Ivory, decided to just bust some moves to the beat of Beyonce’s “Single Ladies.”

All the other beauties stood as poised as they could but when “Single Ladies” was on, Zoey couldn’t help but dance to the beat of this hit song. Zoey had all the moves right from the hand flips down to the hip thrusts. And even if all the other ladies around her were very serious, this didn’t stop her from giving it her all.

It was just a matter of time before members of the audience noticed her and started cheering as they watched Miss Netherlands doing what beauty queens should be doing, being confidently beautiful.

The video that has gone viral was posted on Jan 30 at around 3:00 a.m. and since then it’s had 15M views on Facebook and around 300,000 shares. This video of Miss Netherlands dancing is something that will make your day and will definitely steal your hearts.

Miss Netherlands Responds To ‘Single Ladies’ Video

After Miss Netherlands’ video became viral, Zoel Ivory responded to it via Instagram. In her post, Zoey said, “Thanks everyone for all the sweet messages and love I’m still getting. The girl with the natural curls and tattoos who does crazy dances to “Single Ladies” unfortunately didn’t make it to the Top 13 of Miss Universe.”

She went on to say that she will make it to the top of something else that comes on her path. She added, “This was not my destiny, but an experience I can add to my journey! My time in the Philippines was indescribable and I will find it hard to leave you all! I didn’t win the crown, but I hope that I’ve won your hearts.”
