The upcoming movie is Disney’s fifth installment in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” showcase. Well, for this upcoming film, fans would be happy to know that Orlando Bloom comes back following his absence from the fourth installment, “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.” Kiera Knightley’s involvement, on the other hand, is still a mystery and Disney hasn’t given any hint at all. The fifth franchise also welcomes new characters like Javier Bardem as Captain Salazar, Brenton Thwaites as Henry, Kaya Scodelario as Carina Smyth and Golshifteh Farahani as Shansa. “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” is directed by Joachin Ronning and Espen Sandberg and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. Bruckheimer is also the producer of “Black Hawk Down” and “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.” ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales’ Extended Trailer And Release Date The upcoming “Pirates of the Caribbeans” extended trailer was first viewed during the Super Bowl. With Johnny Cash singing “Ain’t No Grave” in the 80-seconder video, it surely brought the trailer to life and set the tone for what fans are to expect. Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) as you know, is a wanted pirate from the very beginning of the franchise. In the upcoming film, a ghost sailor named Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem) is out to fulfill a mission: to kill all pirates. Captain Jack Sparrow, of course, tops that list. This puts Captain Barbossa on the same fate as Sparrow. To beat Captain Salazar, Jack has to find an artifact, the Trident of Poseidon, which gives him control over the seas. “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” hits Philippine theaters on May 24 and US theaters on May 26.
