Vice Ganda and Coco Martin team up in “The Super Parental Guardians.” On Sunday, Star Cinema released the trailer of the upcoming comedy film. Stars in the film features Matet de Leon and budding child stars Onyok Pineda and Awra Briguela.

The Super Parental Guardians is a film directed by Joyce Bernal. In the movie trailer, Arci (Vice Ganda) makes a pact with Sarah (Matet de Leon): If one of them dies, he or she will swear to take care of their kids.

Sarah then dies, so it is up to either Sarah’s handsome gangster brother Paco (Coco Martin) or Arci to take care of her two kids. Paco wants to fulfill his duty as the kids’ uncle while Arci wants to fulfill his duty as the kids’ ninang. The two decide to live together and raise the kids together. This is where it gets interesting.

Vice Ganda And Coco Martin Films

This is not the first on-screen team up of Vice and Martin. The pair starred in Star Cinema and Viva Films’ “Beauty and the Bestie” in 2015. The movie was a great hit. It is the country’s highest-grossing film to date making more than 520 million the the box office.

“Beauty and the Bestie” was released on Christmas Day 2015.

The Super Parental Guardians: Not In Official List Of MMFF Entry List

The Super Parental Guardians has been excluded from the list of Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2016 movies. This is the first time since she got famous that Vice Ganda will not be appearing in the MMFF. Vic Sotto is also not going to be a part of it. This is a surprise to many.

Vice Ganda has always topped the charts of the box office records since 2011. Vice tells ABS-CBN, “Hindi muna (Not now).” Reports say Vice Ganda’s handler said they will be holding a meeting to discuss this recent development.

“The Super Parental Guardians” premieres in Philippine cinemas on November 30.
