Fans did not expect to see an emotional Vice Ganda during his Valentine special concert, “Pusuan Mo Si Vice Ganda Sa Araneta” on Feb. 14. The comedian did an emotional monologue where he finally addressed his love story with rumored ex-boyfriend, Terrence Romeo.

In 2014, Vice Ganda was reported to have broken up with his boyfriend for five years whom he didn’t name. Terrence Romeo, who came from the same university as Vice Ganda, was dragged in the said breakup after Vice’s tweet: “i TRied but im TiRed. time To Rest,” emphasizing the letters T and R. Fans then believe that the letters T and R pertain to Terrence Romeo.

Terrence, however, denied the rumors that he dated the comedian. Reports say Vice Ganda actually felt hurt about what Terrence said but he still insisted that he didn’t drop any name and will not say anything against the Globalport basketball player. Vice Ganda, since then, has always been teased by his fans and friends from showbiz which he has always ignored.

Vice Ganda Recalls Bittersweet Love Story

Just this Valentine’s Day, Vice Ganda finally broke his silence and shared to everyone in the concert his happy and painful love story with this ‘basketball player’ he used to have a relationship with.

Though Vice Ganda didn’t mention Terrence Romeo’s name, his spoken poetry has been enough for the fans to say that the comedian was talking about the PBA player.

Some parts of his monologue include terms used in basketball which drew clues that he was talking about a basketball player.

The fans even playfully reacted when Vice Ganda mentioned how happy he was whenever this ‘basketball player’ would call him after every game just to ask him if he saw his crossover moves.

But many felt the comedian’s pain and got overwhelmed when Vice Ganda came to the part where their love story needs to stop because it was forbidden by the ‘judgmental eyes’ of the public. Vice Ganda, though emotional, still managed to finish his monologue.

After his performance, Vice Ganda said that his monologue was an act just like the other acts he did in the concert. Terrence Romeo still has no reaction about Vice Ganda’s performance. The Globalport basketball player is believed to be in a relationship with someone today based on his Instagram updates.
