Celebrities Join In On Driveoke Challenge

If Ice Bucket challenge was a pretty cool trend, local Filipino celebrities are taking it up a notch. Say goodbye to the mannequin challenge and hello to Driveoke Challenge. Celebrities like Nico Bolzico, Daniel Padilla and Yassi Pressman have already joined in on the fun. Each with their own antics, these Driveoke videos are a real treat to watch!

On June 6, celebrities wore their sleekest shades, cutest shirts and ridiculously fashionable crop tops, all for their unusual car concert. The rules for this Driveoke Challenge is as easy as counting: get in your vehicle, sing the catchy “Road trip Everybody” song, and drive. Please, please keep your eyes on the road as you do this. And another thing: try to get to know the lyrics, because Nico and the “Bloggerjowas” may have missed a few words.

The “Bloggerjowas” namely Joni Koro, Miggy Cruz, Santi Cua and Jan Slater Young and the Argentinian personality Nico Bolzico seemed to have been prepared. Sporting thick mustaches, statement crop tops and fierce looks, the gang looked every bit of hilarious. And if you’ll notice, the statements in their shirts were pretty funny too.

Daniel Padilla posted his Driveoke in his twitter account. The “Barcelona” star featured Lady Spikers players Kianna Dy, Justin Tiu and Alexandra Tan. The four had a pretty nice drive singing silly and all. They even stopped by to grab some delectable puto!

Yassi Pressman then joined in on the fun with none other than the boys of the Boys Night Out: Eric Virata and Sam YG. With Yassi on the shotgun seat, the trio giggled and sang. Yassi even makes a mess from opening the bottle cap of her soda. As soon as she turns it, it bursts and spills all over what seems to be Sam’s newly washed car. Oops.

It is said that if you were tagged to a Driveoke video, then you better get your engine running. Nico Bolzico’s caption in his post included Daniel Padilla, Yassi Pressman and Jasmine Curtis-Smith. Jasmine is yet to upload her version of “Road trip Everybody.” Whose is your favorite version?
