Honoring the Pillars of Community

The Grand Colorful Parade will be on Jan. 27, Monday. It features representatives from the Baguio Filipino-Chinese community as they parade from Upper Session Road to the Melvin Jones Grandstand. Traditionally, parade-watchers are treated to a shower of sweet treats tossed by members of the Filipino-Chinese community during the parade.

To cap the festivities, the community hosts a Cocktail Fellowship at 6:00 p.m. and the Awards Dinner at 7:00 p.m. on Jan. 27. Both events will be hosted at the Diamond Ballroom of Hotel Supreme, which is owned by one of the pillars of the Baguio Filipino-Chinese community, spouses Peter and Evelyn Ng.
