Marlou Arizala, a former member of boy group Hasht5 and a known social media influencer, created waves on social media after publicizing his plans to have cosmetic surgery done on his face. Host Korina Sanchez-Roxas presented the new and “improved” Xander Ford to a live audience, that immediately went into screaming fits as the young man appeared on stage. Marlou No More, Xander Ford Is The Name As the screams died down, Korina asked him how he felt after all that has happened. Xander says that he is happy that he has reached his dream, his dream to be good-looking. He also said that what he went through was painful and not easy, but he endured it because this was what he really wanted. Before his transformation, he was known as Marlou Arizala, who started out as a member of Hasht5, a group who challenged the way society looked at boy bands or boy groups. Its members, by showbiz standards, were not considered good-looking, but they made their mark with their one of a kind song covers and funny photoshoots. The group also had its share of bashers. Marlou earlier said that he decided to have cosmetic surgery in order to stop people from bullying him. Most praised him for his good looks, with some saying how “guwapo” he was.
