BLACKPINK’s Album Release

It doesn’t end there, YG Entertainment girl group “BLACKPINK” is set to release an album this June 22. Despite the marijuana incident with BigBang’s T.O.P and his hospitalization for benzodiazepine overdose, YG Entertainment remains unaffected. Still, the agency’s artists continue to drop albums.

BigBang leader G-Dragon’s track “Untitled” has no problem staying at the top of the Melon’s music chart. Also part of the top 10 of the chart are songs from 4 other YG Entertainment artists. That makes five songs from YG artists in the Top 10 chart.

The highlight of the upcoming album release of “BLACKPINK” is when YG Entertainment released a teaser of the image. The photo is of a Greek temple, in the shade of pink.

The upcoming album is the girl group’s return album after their second single, “Square Two,” seven months later. “BLACKPINK” is a girl group consisting of four members with their songs “Playing With Fire,” “Boombayah,” and “Whistle” breaking the 100 million mark on YouTube.
