In Ed Sheeran’s first concert to the Philippines in 2015, he made quite a ruckus. He became trending on Twitter, received a warm welcome from the airport, and got all kinds of reactions from the fans. He comments about how ‘welcomed’ he felt in his last visit to the Philippines. Divide kicked-off its release with positive results everywhere. It was a global music phenomenon that earned impressive statistics. His songs “Shape of You” and “Castle on the Hill” instantly gained the #1 and #2 spots of UK’s Official Singles Chart. He is the first artist whose name labeled the simultaneous spots with a pair of brand new tracks. He also stole the spot for the most streamed track in one-week and in one day across the globe for his “Shape of You.”
