She’s back with the darker clothes and angstier persona on-stage. She takes on a Lorde hit, “Royals.” But with a different arrangement, Tandingan gets to own the song one more time. But in the end, the audience gave her the lowest score. She got eliminated while rival/idol Jessie J still lands the first spot. KZ Tandingan on Singer 2018 thanks the Filipino people The Philippines’ “Soul Supreme” addressed fans on Twitter. In the tweet, she wrote, “I close my eyes because faith is seeing for me. I did everything I could, but the results are out of our control. I’m going home tomorrow with a happy heart. This won’t be the last time the world will hear a Filipino sing her heart out. Thank you Lord! Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!” I close my eyes because faith is seeing for me. I did everything I could, but the results are out of our control. Im going home tomorrow with a happy heart. This won’t be the last time the world will hear a filipino sing her heart out. Thank You Lord! Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!☺️ — KZ TANDINGAN (@KZofficial) March 16, 2018 In the leaked results, Jessie J lands the top spot this week. Wangfeng follows in second place. Tandingan lands on the last spot. This eliminates her from the competition. In the episodes after the 5th episode, Tandingan started to slip from the top spot. On her 6th and 7th week, she almost got eliminated. On the 8th week, she got lucky that it was a non-elimination week. Many netizens think that her first episode was beginner’s luck. But her performance of Lorde’s “Royals” was not enough to save her from elimination. Although she tried her best to deliver, it’s not in her hands if she’ll stay or go. In this episode, the old KZ came back. She was in her best look. The darker clothes returned. Her feisty attitude on stage shined brighter than ever. She even toughened the competition by rapping an English verse in the song. Although this is the case, Tandingan’s fans still are proud of her. People on Twitter have been sending her tweets of thanks. Some say that they are proud of her and her achievements as an artist in the show. I just watched your performance miss K.
