Piolo Pascual Misquoted On Exclusively Dating Shaina Magdayao, Message To Bashers

Piolo Pascual claimed he was misquoted when he said he and actress Shaina Magdayao are exclusively dating. On February, the pair announced that they have been seeing each other for five years now. The each have given conflicting statements about the status of their relationship. Piolo thinks as long as they are both on the same page, it doesn’t matter.

Piolo Pascual Clarifies Conflicting statements

The Kapamilya actor drew confusion from the fans when his statement regarding his relationship with Magdayao contradicts that of Shaina Magdayao. During the interview, Pascual said he has been “exclusively dating” Magdayao for five years.

In a separate interview reported by PEP, the actress confirmed that she has been going out with Pascual. The 27-year-old actress then added they are free to date others, which countered the 40-year-old actor’s statement.

Magdayao, however, subtly supported Pascual’s claim by saying that they are not dating anybody else.

Piolo Pascual Reacts to Bashers

Many netizens then expressed their suspicions on Pascual and Magdayao’s romantic relationship because of their conflicting statements.

In a report by PEP, PioloPascual said, “In all honesty, hindi ko nababasa yung mga bashing, which is good. So, whatever people say, it doesn’t matter. You speak the same language, you are on the same page, so kasama ang mga ganyan. Kasama sa trabaho, kasama sa buhay ang mga negatibong bagay. Pag nagdu-dwell ka dun, sayang naman ang ganda ng buhay kung di mo ie-enjoy.”

Negative things are part of work… are part of life. If you dwell on these negativities, life will be such a waste if you will not enjoy it.)

In his contract signing with Mega Global Company on March 7, Pascual then told the press his relationship with Magdayao is very open and honest. The report further quoted Pascual, “So, even if you’re misquoted, for as long as you know that you’re communication lines are open and you have a healthy relationship, you’re honest to each other, then wala kayong problema.”
