Piolo Pascual New OMB Ambassador, No Label With Shaina Magdayao Plus New Movie

Piolo Pascual is on the roll with his new movie Northern Lights: A Journey To Love, a new venture as OMB (Optical Media Board) Ambassador and “new” relationship with actress Shaine Magdayao.

Piolo Pascual On Shaina Magdayao Relationship, ‘Hard To Label’

Actor Piolo Pascual has recently admitted his relationship with fellow actress Shaina Magdayao, who he has been ‘exclusively dating’ and seeing for five years. After Pascual’s revelation, Magdayao also shared her sentiments on the issue at the Tonight With Boy Abunda according to a report by the Inquirer. The actress explained that the Piolo still has the freedom to date other people, and vice versa. Magdayao also added that she is happy having Pascual as a part of her life

Piolo already described their relationship as “hard to label’, in an interview at the Star Magic Thanksgiving press conference. The actor again talked about their relationship at the recent press conference for his new movie project, Northern Lights: A Journey To Love.

“Shai and I, we have talked about it. What’s important is what you say is true and sincere” Piolo says about their current status. He also assured that their relationship is doing fine. “Whatever we have, whatever we talked about, okay na ‘yun” he added.

New Optical Media Board Ambassador

The Inquirer reports Piolo Pascual confirms his appointment as the ambassador of the Optical Media Board (OMB) on Wednesday. The agency is in charge of regulating media (production, use, and distribution) in the Philippines.

The actor expressed that he aims to try to use his influence to help and that it’s an opportunity for him to use his celebrity status for the right reasons. He expresses that he is willing to participate in whichever program as long as it fits his schedule.

Piolo shares the same beliefs with the bureau to fight cinema piracy and describes it as their “battle cry”. “We have yet to sit down and discuss how I can help spread awareness on the bureau’s fight against piracy,” Piolo explained.

Northern Lights: A Journey To Love

Piolo Pascual’s new film, Northern Lights: A Journey To Love, already has a trailer out.The actor is paired with actress Yen Santos and has child actor Raikko Mateo playing his son in the movie.

The Star Cinema film is a dramatic father-son movie with a little romance on the side. Piolo plays a father trying to fix his distant relationship with his 8 year old son. What makes it harder is that he’s meeting for the first time. Things also take a different turn when he falls for Santos’s character.

Excitement arises for Northern Lights: A Journey To Love because the film includes the Northern Lights or Aurora, which are a beautiful mix of colors flashing in the sky. The movie’s setting is in Alaska, where these lights are often shining.

Northern Lights: A Journey To Love, directed by DonDon Santos, is set to premiere nationwide on March 29.
