This week’s Movie Mix lineup just has to be included in the to-do list in this almost-a-week-long Holy Week holiday break. Aside from soaking up the sun and sand, a movie night is a must! Why, you ask? Well, let the movie titles speak for themselves. Brace yourself for The Fate of the Furious, Can’t Help Falling in Love, The Boss Baby, and Personal Shopper.

The Fate of the Furious – Buckle Up and Enjoy the Ride!

Get ready for the expected adrenaline rush when “Fast and Furious 8” hits theaters on April 15. The film opens with Dom and Letty enjoying their honeymoon while Brian and Mia spend some long-awaited downtime together. When the crew finally gets a sense of normalcy, things change when Cipher mysteriously convinces Dom into the world of high-tech terrorism. Betrayal is only the tip of the iceberg in this action-packed fight against anarchy.

The latest film to the Fast and Furious franchise is directed by F. Gary Grey. Interestingly, he directed Vin Diesel in “A Man Apart,” Jason Statham and Charlize Theron in “The Italian Job,” and Dwayne Johnson in “Be Cool.” Now the director reunites the action stars in F8 along with its legendary cast – Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Kurt Russell, Helen Mirren, Luke Evans, Scott Eastwood, Nathalie Emmanuel, Elsa Pataky, and Kristopher Hivju.

Get Into the Kathniel Romance with ‘Can’t Help But Falling In Love’

The romantic comedy film stars Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla about a marriage circumstance gone wrong. This is their sixth film together as a couple and they have always managed to leave fans wanting for more. The movie also stars Matteo Guidicelli, Cherry Pie Picache, Lito Pimentel, Lotlot De Leon, Dennis Padilla, Joross Gamboa, Kristel Fulgar, Janus del Prado and Pinky Amador. The serene blue waters of Moalbal, Cebu is the unforgettable setting of the film’s underwater shots.

The Boss Baby – a Box Office Hit

The Boss Baby has overtaken “The Smurfs 3” and is currently number 1 in North America in its second weekend. Alec Baldwin’s voice is perfect for the suit-wearing and briefcase-carrying baby who is out to squash the CEO of Puppy Co. Boss Baby’s 7-year-old brother makes the plot even more lovable especially that the film instills the value of family and sibling relationships. The famous voices of Steve Buscemi (Francis Francis), Jimmy Kimmel (Dad), Lisa Kudrow (Mom), Tobey Maguire (Adult Tim/Narrator), Miles Christopher Bakshi (Tim), James McGrath (Wizzie) and Conrad Vernon (Eugene) make this witty and appealing comedy come to life.

With her uncanny ability to communicate with spirits, she seemingly hears from her deceased twin brother. Incidentally, her brother passed away in Paris.
